Get the words without the document styling
Extract plain text from a DOCX when you want a portable draft for a text editor or another text-based workflow. The output is a UTF-8 TXT file containing the main document text. Paragraphs and table cell text can be included, but the original typography, columns, and visual table structure do not become a formatted text document.
Check content outside the main document body
Images, headers, footers, and footnotes are excluded. Text that appears only inside a picture or a scanned page cannot be extracted because this is not an OCR tool. Compare the text output with the source if those sections matter. Use Word to PDF when you need a readable copy that preserves the document’s visual layout rather than just its main text.

Are tables preserved?
Cell text is included, but the original visual table layout is not preserved. Use Word to PDF when the document appearance matters.
Can this extract text from a PDF or photograph?
No. The input must be a DOCX file with text in its main document body. PDF text extraction and OCR for photographs or scanned pages are not provided by this tool.
Why are the header and footnotes missing?
The converter extracts the main document body. Headers, footers, and footnotes live outside that body and are excluded. Copy any essential material into the main body before converting, or retain a PDF copy alongside the text.
