- Original editing supports simple text and image objects. Scanned text, nested content and rotated or complex text may not be editable. Supported standard-font edits retain their font; other replacements use DejaVu Sans. Up to 200 original-content changes, 200 added marks and 500 pages. This is not secure redaction or certificate-based digital signing.

Make a small correction without rebuilding the document
Use the editor to correct a short piece of supported original text, remove an image, or add a note to an existing PDF. Add multiline text with alignment, rectangles, ellipses, and fillable text fields or checkboxes. You can also arrange pages before exporting. Inspect the document first: PDFs store positioned objects, so a paragraph may be split across several separate text objects rather than behaving like a Word paragraph.
Check text replacement and page layout
Supported standard-font edits retain their font. Other replacements use DejaVu Sans and may occupy a different width. Keep corrections short, inspect the surrounding text, and check the exported PDF at a readable zoom. Scans, nested content, rotated text, and complex objects may not support original editing. Keep an original copy whenever you need to preserve signatures or the exact appearance.

Can I change the original text?
Yes, supported original text objects can be replaced or deleted from the PDF content. Supported standard-font edits retain their font; other replacements use DejaVu Sans. Scanned text requires OCR, and nested or complex objects may not be editable. Preview is free; export uses one existing conversion or credit, restored if the export fails.
Can I edit text in a scanned PDF?
Yes. Use Recognize scan (OCR) in English or Romanian. Editable · keep layout retains page artwork and table borders with positioned editable text; fonts and spacing may differ. Use Select for corrections. Editable · text only removes artwork and supports Reflow paragraph. Searchable scan mode preserves page appearance but keeps visible text inside the image.
Can I use this editor to redact confidential information?
No. This editor is not a secure redaction tool. Covering content or deleting a visible object does not establish that sensitive information has been removed everywhere in the file. Use a dedicated redaction workflow for confidential material.
Does opening a PDF use a free conversion?
Preview is free. Export uses one available conversion or credit, which is restored if the export fails. The editor supports up to 500 pages, 200 original-content changes, and 200 added marks.
