Make an image compatible with a JPG upload field
Use Image to JPG when a website, document workflow, or device accepts JPEG images but not your PNG or WebP source. Upload one supported image and download a JPG. JPEG and JPG are names for the same image format, so an existing JPEG can also be accepted, but converting it again does not restore missing detail.
Account for white backgrounds and lossy compression
JPEG cannot retain transparency. The converter fills transparent areas with white, which can change how a logo or cutout looks against a dark background. JPEG compression can also soften tiny text, sharp edges, and flat-color graphics. Inspect the downloaded image at its intended display size and keep the original PNG or WebP when you need its transparency or original quality.

What happens to transparent areas?
JPEG does not support transparency. Transparent areas become white, so logos intended for dark backgrounds may look different.
Can I keep a transparent background in the JPG?
No. JPEG does not support transparency; transparent areas are filled with white. Keep a PNG or a suitable WebP original for uses where the background must remain transparent.
Can I convert several images in one job?
